Each New Year brings hope and expectancy of new opportunities. The New Year gives every one a chance to start over with renewed commitment and desire. As we begin a 'New Season' in the life of Pleasant Grove, it is imperative that as Christian Servants that we strive to serve GOD honorably and faithfully, but also with one mind and one heart with one goal to glorify GOD.

We serve a great GOD who can do great things through us, if we let HIM.

Therefore, beginning January 1, 2003, the following will take effect.

Deacons Ministry

	Deacons will no longer sit on the step down area from the pulpit.
	All Deacons are expected to participate in Devotion.
	All Deacons should stand when an invitation to Discipleship is given [aka opening the doors of the church]
	Each Deacon will be assigned a Family by alphabetical order, and be responsible for ministry to that family through personal visits and phone calls
	All Deacons will be trained on how to share the gospel
	Deacons will no longer be assigned to church auxiliaries or any other ministry in the church
	All Deacons are required to attend a Bible Study or Christian Education Classes and Tithe
	All Deacons must attend classes on Church Policy and Practice as directed by the Pastor

Trustee Ministry

	Trustees are expected to participate in the 8am and 11am Devotion services with the Deacons Ministry
	All Trustees will be trained to lead the congregation in Stewardship Development
	All Trustees are required to attend a Bible Study or Christian Education Class and Tithe
	All Trustees must be bonded
	All Trustees must attend classes on Church Policy and Practices, and other Training Classes are directed by the Pastor

Associate Ministers

	All Ministers will be assigned a Sunday to serve in the order of worship
	All Ministers will be assigned to a specific ministry in the church
	All Ministers will meet to discuss various issues of their calling and ministry in the church
	All Ministers are required to attend a Bible Study or Christian Education Classes and Tithe
	Associate Ministers should avail themselves to be available to serve as directed by the Pastor
	All Ministers must attend classes on Church Policy and Practices, and other Training Classes directed by the Pastor

Church Officers

	All Church Officers must execute their office with integrity and sincerity as they serve the LORD'S people
	Church Officers are expected to attend Leadership Meetings
	Church Officers are expected to work cooperatively with the Deacon and Trustee Ministry for the good and welfare of Pleasant Grove Church
	Church Officers are required to attend a Bible Study or Christian Education Classes and Tithe
	All Officers must attend classes on Church Policy and Practice and other Training Classes as directed by the Pastor
